Last year this time, I was planning to go and collect primary data in Bangladesh. Then, unexpected things happened. Nargis was one of them. My plan was washed away like a bamboo hut smashed by a huge storm surge.
Then, I recollected my strength and change the course which is not entirely different from the previous one. But, this one would give me a chance to complete the current study program within a realistic timeframe.
I will be working on a great research project called JiVitA - which means "life" in Bangali. Today, I received permission to start working on it.
This is it. Beginning of the end of my doctoral study.

Meaning you are not going to complete it? If so, I will feel so sad even though I also accept that success in life is not all about academic certificates.

What a pointed comment! I'll tell ya - it is not a luxury to study here in my program. I have my own concrete reasons for spending part of my life in further study. If you have time, just look around to see what I have been doing while studying in the US.
